What is ECSA?

ECSA ( The Engineering Council of South Africa) is a statutory body established in terms of the Engineering Profession Act (EPA). ECSA’s primary role is the regulation of the engineering profession in terms of this Act.

Below shows the different types of Engineers registered at ECSA.

To register as a Professional in any of these categories, ECSA sets out various guidelines and requirements for each of these categories.
